CS2 is the current version of Counter Strike Global Offensive (CS:GO). In 2023 CS:GO was renamed to Counter Strike 2 and recieved a major overhaul update which made very large changes to the game, it completly changed the graphics, changed the factions and changed the achievements. CS:GO is no longer playable on Steam and is now called Counter Strike 2.
