Steam is something completely foreign to me. I don't really play much on PC but this has been amazing so far!

Cheers fella. If you're not looking to spend too much money just yet, there's some game demos that are still up for a little longer after the recent Next Fest.

Welcome to Steam, it's a great platform

Check out the store, lots of free games to download and try, or demos as suggested above. Lots of games on sale at different times of the year during the 'big' sale events. If you play a specific genre, there is a categories section at the top of the store to narrow down your search, co-op, FPS, RPG, etc.
