what is your computer spec?

i know you ssaid 'new',but one ive just bought is an oldie but chalenging goodie-some good old fashioned mindless bit of fun.
#super monkey ball; banana mania if you were a fan of segas classic consoles you can get the deluxe version to play as the actual consoles-its a strange strange concept but it honestly works if your a fan,i love playing as the sega saturn.
-no problems on windows 11.

#radiant silvergun - another sega classic. very chalenging, vertical shoot em up. dont play if you have photosensitive epilepsy or have another condition that means you are easily overloaded by flashing imagery.
-i think i had no problems first time i launched these on windows 11.

#party hard 1 & 2.
these are very dificult but very satisifying games where you have to go all ted bundy in many devius ways on your anoying neighbours.
-these work fine,no problems with windows 11.

#NiGHTS into dreams. you have to be quick,presise and have great fine motor skills. i dont so i suck at it,but its great fun. its against the clock and its an incredibly adictive old saturn game. works great on the PC.i think all i had to do was choose the graphics card and resolution to get it running smooth.

#REZ . such a unique sensory experience but dificult as hell as you need to have serius trigger happy fingers to shoot and fight (its an onrails shooter with a difference). its got different modes this time round, exept i recomend checking out whether your monitor is likely to display the screen in full-or like my laptop screen,in only aa part of it.

#cult of the lamb. does touch on some darker sensitive topics like religeon, a narcistic pyschopathic lamb (lol), inbreeding and cults, so dont play if any of its topics are likely to ofend as it does really upset some people. you have probably heard of it,if not,its worth a look up on here.

If you want a shooter against players, a MilSim like Squad will require a lot of patience, observation skills, communication, and teamwork. The people you are playing will have a lot more skill and trying to achieve an objective takes time. If you are uncertain, follow the game and wait for a free weekend where you can dl the game for free and give it a try. Take it slow, walk, steady your aim and you can do great in this game.

If you want a shooter against AI (with new squad AI, because finding an online game is hard), Six Days in Fallujah will have you fight unforgiving insurgents around every corner. Good for an experience, difficult to fight through.

Fighting players online is a mixed bag. There are very dedicated players who have mastered movement, and that in itself is a challenge.
