Ensure you’re entering the correct account name (not your profile name) and password. If you’re unsure of your account name, you might find it in previous emails from Steam. Also, be cautious with special characters in your password, as they can sometimes cause issues.
2. Steam Guard and Multiple Devices
Since you’ve been using multiple devices, Steam’s security feature, Steam Guard, might be causing complications. Each time you log in from a new device, Steam may require a verification code sent to your email. Ensure you’re checking your email for these codes and entering them correctly. If you haven’t already, consider enabling Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator for more seamless access across devices.
3. Clear Steam’s Cache
Corrupted cache files can sometimes cause login issues. To clear them, press Windows + R, type %localappdata%\Steam, and press Enter. Delete all files in this directory, restart your computer, and try logging in again.
4. Firewall and Antivirus Settings
Your security software might be blocking Steam. Try temporarily disabling your antivirus and firewall, then attempt to log in. If this works, add Steam to the exceptions or whitelist in your security software to prevent future issues.
5. Update the Steam Client
An outdated client can cause login problems. Download the latest version of the Steam client from the official website and install it on your PC.
6. Internet Connection
Ensure you have a stable internet connection. Unstable or weak connections can impede the login process. If possible, connect to a different network to rule out connectivity issues.
7. Contact Steam Support
If none of the above solutions work, it’s advisable to reach out to Steam Support for personalized assistance. Provide them with detailed information about the issue and the troubleshooting steps you’ve already taken.
I hope these suggestions help you regain access to your Steam account.
And believe me - I have tried EACH. AND. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. of the above "how to get your Account Logged In" jargon above. And then some more.
Just received a response to my fault log ticket:
"I've had a look at your account it appears you have not logged into Steam using the Steam client prior to submitting this help request and I am glad that you already did. Please note that the Steam client is required to download, install, and play Steam games. Let us know if you need any more help. Steam Support" D
Does anyone even understand what this guy is trying to say because he is not clear to me at all??
This helps me in absolutely NO way. I still cannot log into the Steam client.

I'm assuming you have, because this link takes you to download the steam client, that support seemed to be telling you, you've never actually logged into Steam the client and only like Steam on your web browser. Maybe explaining you can't log into the Steam client itself would be more helpful.
I log in.
It directs me to the mobile authenticator
It asks for sign in approval.
I approved and am now signed in on the cellphone.
I am signed in on the Steam website on my PC
However, if I go to the Home Page – I cannot see my Games library.
The first error I get is on this page: Unable to reach your PC.
Then, to see my games I have to go to Games
Steam shows that I am offline
Steam does not show up in my systems tray
I cannot verify the integrity of game files as I cannot access my library anywhere and cannot find the game gear icon.
I cannot access Steam settings to clear the download cache
I have cleared the cache from Augmented steam
I have:
Installed and reinstalled Steam 6 times.
Changed my password
Tried a different Browser
Turned my Firewall (Defender) on and off
Turned my VPN off
Have checked that Steam is allowed through as an Allowed App on Defender
I have cleared the caches
I have turn off all clashing software
Run scandisk
Launched steam as Administrator
Opened and closed, opened and closed the software.
Restarted the router
Switched PC on and off.
Internet connection is stable.
I LOGGED ON FROM A FAMILY MEMBERS PC And then I can see my library
PLEASE HELP!!!!!
and choose “I can’t sign in” — they can reset your access safely. Don’t make a new account; support can recover the current one.
