Steam VR not working correctly with Quest 3
Meta sucks, for starters. After a bunch of hoopla getting the POS to connect to PC again (the BS if detailed would be pages long - I'll spare you), Meta, in all it's clownish-buffoonery and software updates keep breaking everything, found Steam VR no longer listed in my Recent apps run. UGH.

Connected to PC, in "Meta Link" white/grid voidal space, Steam is missing.
Through VR, Steam already running, so launch Steam VR. Nothing, just its running in background. Launch a game, screen goes black, seems like its going to load...dumps me back to the white/voidal gridspace that is Meta's. Game running in background, can see the "2D" pop-up, can't do any kind of "alt-tab" "alt-enter", point controller-and-click-on-it, to be immersed in it.

Fng Meta, seriously. That was main reason bought the headset was to do VR and play games on Steam. If I can't do that, can't be resolved (already spend hours trying to fix other Meta stupid crap), then f**k Meta.

Go to check out Valve's VR headset "Index".
Index with Controllers---out of stock
Controllers---out of stock
Headset---in stock

Cool! I can get a headset and no controllers so can't do anything anyways! LOL!

Ahh, forget it, I just go back to playing 3D games on 2D screens, like we did 40yrs ago in the 20th Century.

We're a quarter into the 21st Century and technology and software "of the future" just absolutely sucks fng arse.

You may already be aware but here goes, you can get the Valve Index and source other parts and make them work together. I have a Rift S and it will not allow you to use 3rd party perhipherals. So with the Valve Index you could make(or buy) Some VR gloves and use different trackers(towers?) to make a custom setup. But It does stink that everything is out of stock.
хз че делать
