I tried to download Steam on my MacBook M4 with the new Tahoe software, but my Mac won't open it.

Every time I try to open Steam, it says: "Steam needs to be online to update. Please confirm your network connection and try again."

Then I reopen Steam and it says: "This version of Steam is not compatible with macOS 14 or later and needs to be updated. Contact the app developer for more information."

Is there a solution that will allow me to open Steam?
