Future of MacOS Support - Post Tahoe & Rosetta II Phase-Out
Valve Staff,

Any word on what will happen to Steam for Mac after the next couple of years?
引用自 flingo:
Apple is phasing out Rosetta 2 soon, which means older Intel-only games and some current apps might stop working on newer Macs. Valve hasn’t given an official roadmap yet, but odds are Steam itself will keep working since it's already Apple Silicon native. The real question is about game compatibility lots of devs may drop Mac support entirely unless they rebuild for ARM. Keep an eye on official Steam news or dev posts for updates.

Any dev that’s interested in keeping Mac compatibility at all is likely to continue support, however developers haven’t exactly been lining up to support Macs at all as of late.
