"The application Steam cant be opened"

Hey, I was using steam, used command q to quit it, and got back on a couple of hours later, it said it couldnt be opened with the number -600 under it, I cant access steam otherwise, if anyone knows what to fix, please tell me, thanks!

Hey, that error usually happens when Steam didn’t close right. Try opening Activity Monitor and quit any Steam stuff that’s still running. Then open Steam again.

If that doesn’t work, just restart your Mac and try again.
