"Failed to create GL context: Failed creating OpenGL pixel format"

Just downloaded and installed CS:GO for my mac. I tried to run the game and i get an error saying "Failed to create GL context: Failed creating OpenGL pixel format" No idea what is causing the problem or how i could fix it...

you can play in windowed mode if you set your primary screen to the retina display and then change it after but its so retarded

I had the same error, and the reason was that I was using an external screen that duplicated the screen. As soon as I set the second screen as an extension of the first, I no longer had the error.
