Cant start Source Sdk Hammer Editor
I've installed the Team Fortress 2 free game, and installed the sdk tool and when i try to run hammer editor the error: "The configuration information for the game your've trying to edit is invalid or missing"

im running the Source Engine MP as the engine version

if i buy counter-strike gobal offensive will i get the same error?

You have to run the game first for the mod you want to map or create with. I'm assuming you want to make TF2 maps so run TF2 real quick then exit out and try running Hammer again.

team fortress 2 is not longer availlable from the SourceSDK,

team fortress 2 is not longer available in the sourcesdk
1. from your game library > right click on the game and click properties,
2. go at the beta Tab, and suscribe the sdk tool beta program.
3. restart steam (steam will download the tools)

Now team fortress 2 is located in steamapps/common/team fortress 2/bin directory

4. right click on the set_sdk_env.bat run as Admin
5. and after that you can launch hammer, with the Hammer.bat
6. choose the config for Tf2,
7. check your game config and build tab in hammer options.
