Missing Config File?
I decided to move my Steam installation from my SSD to my HDD since I was running out of space. I verified the game cache files on cs source, but now Hammer Editor won't work from Source SDK. I get a message saying "The configuration information for the game you're trying to edit is invalid or missing." I try clicking "Run Anyway", but then I get a message saying "Setup file 'gameinfo.txt' is missing from subdirectory C:/..." C is the drive that the old steam installation was on. How do I change the subdirectory of gameinfo.txt for Source SDK?

it sounds like a problem with the paths contained into your gameConfig.txt file
what engine branch do you using ?
example;, if you are using Source2007 engine branch go into the

X:\Steam\steamapps\USERNAMEsourcesdk\bin\source2007\bin\ and edit the gameConfig.txt with note pad, et fix the wrong paths.
