3. the bug will be fixed this week, so wait a bit, or revert the SDK to the revision 1.
I can understand your feels, we are waiting for source engine 2, and we get a 2013 version of the SDK that is not at the same level of development that the Alienswarm SDK.
the release is completely bugged
- buildcubemap doesn't works
- maya exporter are not complete and not functionnal
- materialsystem project is not in the sdk and we can't rewrite our own shaders.
- hammer suppor things that the engine can't deal with ( displacement blend tool, instance maps )
Valve support occulus that is just in development stage, but who will pay the 300$ for a prototype and to integrate a queue list when dozen of hundred people wait to get their own device ?

Thanks. I decided that there isn't enough I want to program to make it worth the trouble so I switched plans again. I can just as easily mod Ep2 directly and it would probably look just the same.
