Port forwarding working but server offline
Hello! I have a problem with starting a dedicated server for Counter-Strike. I opened port on my router and I am 100% sure it is working correctly, but the server is not visible outside my network. I tried starting a dedicated server while Windows is in safe mode with turned off Windows Firewall so I can be sure that nothing is blocking the server. Please help

On the router web page, go on "Home", write down the wan ip address..
Check if its the same you see here:

Should be the same.

Those apps to check ports are very inconsistent, the windows app only check if the port has "Listening" status on netstat, it don't check all the way through routers.
And those webapp sometimes works, sometimes don't, i get the same, as port is closed, even if the server is running with people in it.
Best bet is to ask someone try join the server.

The GUI options is very usefull, but its glitchy and it crash the server few times, it has less support for mods, like amxmod and adminmod..
I suggest you add -console, and use just the black screen, its harder to admin, but its infinitely more effective than the GUI, and you can admin later in-game with thousands of tools with menus and such..

Oh, another thing, check the server size, as it used to be broken and very small, like 30~70mb, that version does not work, it is the steamcmd version, steam tools version seems to work.

Hello!
Usually the problem is there, can u post pic of the port forwarding?
Also, your internal ip is set right? Server port?

You need to make sure the router has the external ip, and not under any GCNAT.

My internal up and server port are set right. I am under CGNAT, but I called my ISP and told them that I need port forwarding and they have done something and port forwarding is now working. I tested it with other programs and everything was fine. I have problems only with HLDS. I can send screenshots if it is needed.
