Hello Steam Community,
i have a problem at the starting steam,
I have this Error code: You are missing the following 32-bit libraries, and Steam may not run: libGL.so.1
And wen i press 'Ok' come this error: Fatal Error: Failed to load steamui.so,

My Hardware/Software:
-----------
16-GB Ram DDR3-1600MHz
i5-3470
AMD Radeon R9-280X 3GB GDDR5
-----------
OS: Ubuntu 16.04 xenial
Kernel: x86_64 Linux 4.15.0-142-generic
And there are reasons why I use ubuntu 16.04, I WILL NOT CHANGE!!!

As Ubuntu 16.04 is EOL in a couple of days, I won't help. Got enough of that old ♥♥♥♥ in my workplace, don't have to put up with that in my spare time

Auf Deutsch: Dein Ubuntu wird in wenigen Tagen nichtmal mehr von Canonical unterstützt, daher gibts von mir nur einen Tipp: Upgrade. Und nein, ich verdiene mein Geld mit KRITIS auf Debian (der Mutter von Ubuntu), es gibt an der Stelle keinen Verhandlungsspielraum. Alte Scheiße im Internet geht gar nicht.

Upgrade, oder keine Hilfe. Und wenn du dabei bist, gleich auf 20.04 (oder Debian Bullseye), dann hast du wenigstens 4 (5) Jahre Ruhe.
