I don't think TTL is the problem, as it work on a different iso layer.
The descriptions seems like a firewall problem or port forward problem.
What top says about the resources? The hardware can handle the service?
The fact is we was playing on The Center map and it was working perfectly for him (and all of us) and then we switch to ISO map with the same configuration and mods but at this time it's realy hard for him to join the server (like only 1/10) and get "connection lost / timed out" just after the "Snapshot 16" loading data game.
I see a post that explain when we got mods and one of these take more than 1giga to download there is a chance for the steam client to drop the connection (maybe because he has not enough internet bandwidth i don't know)
I waste so many time on this to find a solution like a server or client parameter to increase the delay of "timed out" but there is none. I can't believe that so many people have this problem and WildCard and Steam don't even respond to this and try to fix it.
I have updated the serv mod extinction core and add this (link below) to prevent the timeout but he still got the problem

Hoping there is a fix...
Zero responsibility by wildcards and steam that's kind of annoying. I'm sorry for being a bit toxic but i want to precise this problem is not new and people complain about this since the launch of the game (2017) so almost two years. And it's the same for Atlas the world new copy paste Ark for Pirates. Very great games concept ( yeah i love this game so much) but developers seems to just want the money instead finish their games. Bad story.
