playing steam games remotely over a local network..
Through a little research it says yes, but mostly (or all) talks about basically just sharing the drive (files). My question is, if my brother has a really old crappy pc that doesn't even come close to meeting the requirements, is it possible for him to play on his computer upstairs, and also be able to use MY pc's resources to run the game, like the cpu and gpu, instead of his? I understand there will be some latency issues, but for the games that we mostly play, it's not as much of a concern (not competitive fps stuff) I'd also be willing to invest in some better quality (faster) cables to connect the 2. I also understand that we probably couldn't play at the same time if my pc is doing the work for both. I've welcomed him to just come use my pc, but it's in my bedroom, where I may be trying to, idk lay around naked or sleep haha. I'm not talking about playing together over lan, not interested in that ...yet, especially considering many newer games dont support it. Im ta;lking about my not doing anything on my pc except maybe watch a movie, and him using any and all on my pc resources to play the game for him, but see it and play it from his pc upstairs.
