Steam Sales

unfortunately i built my PC just after the summer sale finished. will there be another sale on anytime soon, i was looking at getting games like ARMA II, the valve complete pack and metro 2023. should i wait for another sale or just start buying games?

I think the next is the Christmas Holiday sale.

What about halloween ? Im sure there will be a sale on then too!

i'm pretty sure if it comes to be a halloween sale, Metro will be on sale. Don't know about the others, though...

The typical pattern the past few years has been Steam sales in late June/early July and another one at the end of December. Other holidays are for the promotion of individual games, like the TF2 Halloween event. Between the daily deals, midweek/weekend madness, publisher catalogue weeks, pre-order discounts, free-to-play weekends, spotlight promotions, indie bundles and reduced pricing on older items, Steam has a lot going on every day. The big semi-annual sales bring the internet to its knees already, they don't need to do any more.
