Why do people argue that green light has M.C. rip offs ?

I know I'm ganna get alot of hate messages but, I don't understand why people whine that a game is a minecraft copy or rip off just because it has blocks. It stupid in my opinion. Why must people type hate messsages that just constist of whining and fighting on the subject(you know how you are!), it doesn't any since. Why can't we be civil with are comments and just Down and upvote like regual people? Theres just no need! If you comment, try to keep them clean.

Apparently you're too young to remember when every FPS game was a "DooM clone."

It'll pass. Every so often there's a mega-hit game that is immediately recognizable in either its graphics or gameplay. Game developers/publishers see how successful it is and decide they want a piece of the action, so they make something "inspired" by that original. Nothing wrong with that. Sometimes they improve upon the formula, sometimes they fail. Sometimes they push boundaries, sometimes they're conventional. Eventually there will be so many "copies" that a new word to describe the genre emerges.

Green Light has like 2 Harvest Moon Rip offs, but you don't see me complaining since Harvest Moon has never been on PC... xD

Totally. And since minecraft isn't coming to steam, I really have no issues with a clone getting accepted instead. Who knows, they might even improve on it.
