AR15s don't really look good.

I'm just gunna be honest, nearly every other rifle looks better than AR15s. AK, Galil, Scar, G36, MCX, etc. I get the AR15 is like the most optimized amazing weapon platform and whatever. I don't know if it's just fatigue from seeing them my whole life but they just aren't very good looking. If I had to own an AR15, I'd get an M16 with the triangle handguard. Classic look.

I think the platform looks better in carbine or SBR.

(And the original AR-10 looks better than the original AR-15, imo.)

They're all ugly except some AKs with wood furniture.

Best looking gun are really pre1970's, floating rails as useful as the floating rail system is, it isn't as pretty as traditional rifles. Particularly ones that had engravings on them, like you see on a few upper end shotguns you see today.

In the end they have their own style, it not bad, overall, and some people prefer it.

Yeah if you want something pretty, you can't beat a hand made British rifle/shotgun.

If it doesn't have wood furniture or a Cooling gasket, it's not hot.

I've seen some AR's look really tacticool.

But, I do, kinda, agree with 'Shoopy' that AK's with a wooden stock look better.
For me because they look a lot more "raw" and with the knowledge it includes lower maintenance.
