What do you think about these new drugs?

Appetite suppressants, addiction suppressants.

They cut off the reward centres in your brain so you no longer crave the things you were previously addicted to. You can enjoy in moderations but the drugs cost $100 p/month. Which isn't too expensive against the cost of an addiction.

Then $100 is a reallllly good price. Unless it's very severe, it usually takes 3 months ($300) to lose an addiction, which sounds great.

Addicts have their reward systems hijacked, the addictive behaviour becomes far more exciting and interesting and provides an extreme reward, everything else becomes far more boring and dull.

These drugs seem to target the "extreme reward" and "perceived appeal" of the addictive actions WITHOUT further crapping on your reward system in general, and this seems like enough to make cravings far easier to resist, sort of like making it easier to resist picking up a constantly ringing phone by having earplugs or something.

You'd still have to go through the withdrawal phase where you suffer anhedonia among other things, but the message that "the addictive action will fix it" is dampened, removing the relapse loop. This sounds very good.

If it truly is effective, it'd be a godsend.

perhaps useful for addiction, sounds unnecessary for dieting unless the person for some reason is unable to exercise. but...there should be no reason they should be unable to diet.

What if they could stop your brain rewarding you for your thoughts? You know if a psychotic person no longer receives the dopamine from satisfying their delusion. To no longer have irrational thoughts because there is no reward.

When did this happen? They have drugs that will make alcohol bitter, and you'll throw up if you drink, but they don't do anything about the cravings.

Sounds great in theory but every drug has side effect. Wait ten years and watch for all the early adopters to fully test and see if they have bone loss or aomething then decide

They can even supress opioid addiction, but it takes extra guidance because, like all things, it's not a wonder cure. Breaking an opiate addiction is very hard but these drugs can make it easier, or so I am led to believe.

my opinion? as a regular customer trapped in a market with all kinds of things that could ruin me, if I dont know how to better use them? its necessary to have some nerve blocker, can they block habit? its good product, with fair researching value, its not becoming as iconic as wd 40.

Gotta stop the cravings, first. Or you're just in a world of ♥♥♥♥ 24/7 with your brain looking for solutions to problems it can never solve.

Any medication should only be taken on a doctor's recommendation, as all drugs carry the risk of side effects. The kidneys and liver are often the most affected.
