That's a two parter.
One, it's similar to asking why people want Minecraft to add horses when the Horses mod already exists (dated reference but if you know you know). Somehow not the same.
Two, however, hmm...yeah that is an ask isn't it.
I still have the DVDs that included the original cuts as a bonus, albiet in lousy resolution buried in a storage bin in the garage, along with virtually the entire Expanded Universe (a pox on people who call it "Legends.")
Obviously, I cannot go to the theater for this, as if I gave the demon mouse company a cent, I'd be damned as an oathbreaker.
I really like the celebratory song in Return of the Jedi's special edition, combined with old Anakin. But you know it'd be cool to just have a collection that like that one you had, has all the different versions. Nice to switch between them.
Yes up to 4k now, various editions with dnr or not, and alternate print 70mm silverscreen/4k77 scan versions.
There was no point for Lucas hiding the original anymore, its all out there now.
What is this stuff? NEver heard of it
And the crowd went wild.
as for lucas star wars, not a big fan.

aye, i know there are some that exist. i have actually watched a few! but they are often structured oddly and never seem to agree how to incorporate the gameplay into the "movie" aspect of it. because completely cutting out the combat and gameplay and just leaving in the cutscenes also removes a lot of context of whats going on.
and at that point when does it just became a normal playthrough? i want every gameplay segment to be somewhat cinematic. also i would not wish for like 75% of cutscenes to be cut out to make a more digestible 3 hour story.
