its probably why hes generally considered the best dbz villain and always ranks the highest on japanese popularity polls. sometimes its fun to just have a villain who is a cruel, sadistic bully who enjoys causing suffering.
it can be entertaining seeing them act insane, and its very satisfying to watch the heroes crush them because of it.
