how can the american 2-party system be dismantled?
Pretty damn sure by now, every teen with half a brain already understand that both political parties in USA are terribly corrput and don't serve the interest of the people.
They pretend to be enemies with opposing idealogies but in reality they just serve their corporate sponsors to steal more money from the people.

And yet the americans still vote for them because there's simply no one else, voting 3rd party is basically not voting at all because of this idiotic winner-takes-all system so voting is worthless unless your party won.
So instead the american people just resort to choosing the "least terrible" candidate out of fear that the opponent will ruin the country even though they BOTH do this, just with different flavors.

Biden flooded America with illegal immigrants
Trump is flooding America with H1B1 immigrants
Biden ruined America's foreign affairs by being a weak cowardly idiot
Trump is ruining Armerica's foreign affaird by being a pompous selish idiot
Biden ruined the American economy with bloated spending and high taxes that only the rich corporations could afford
Trump ruins America's economy with bloated Tarrifs, and erasure of social security that only the rich corporations dont need

etc. etc. you get the point.

In theory, the 2 party system could work, if it wasn't so rigged, there were plenty of good alternatives to Trump and Biden within their own parties, and yet they somehow won the primary elections. how? well, the file leaks from the DNC obviously showed that the party rigged the priamaries. in favor of Hillary Clinton and Biden so it doesn't take a genius to deduct the GOP does the same ♥♥♥♥.

So what can the American people do? could any laws be passed to change this system? does it require changing the constitution? will riots change anything? or is it all just hopeless until the american government just collapses?

even the founding fathers never even intended it to be a two party system, in fact they were extremely opposed to it. actually they were opposed to there being parties at all apparently

This is MOSTLY true. Neither party serves the people, only a small amount of Americans who are either way right or way left

The only party (we have about 6, but only really talk about the main 2) who wants to get rid of the two party system is the party that lost and has no true political platform anymore.

It's very simple...allow the Democratic Party to collapse. Help it collapse. The progressive Bernie Sanders types need to split from the Democrats, and not simply elect Democrat progressives but a completely different political party.

How can you do this? Mid-terms vote Republicans. Give Trump such a massive victory that Democrats admit defeat.

Republicans won the popular vote and the states are turning more Red. In other words you won't topple the Republicans but the Democrats right now are the weak link.

Continue and do not care in the slightest. At best, it provides them with yet another reason to moan and complain, because "first world problems" is still a thing.

I've made a topic, something like 3 years ago now, asking more or less the same question - but without the whole doom-sh!t you're pulling. Answers were like : nah, it's fine, anyways it's a "winner takes all" system and having more than two parties just dillutes the votes.

3rd party still sometimes win local ellections. But yes even Trump figured out 3rd party rarely wins so he joined the GOP

I'm hoping that Mr. Fuentes will be able to split the maga movement. He has weird views but he sure as hell seems like someone very useful.

pure lies and drivel.....get rid of gerrymandering and give us a real 1 to 1 vote......republicans will lose every time......the weak link has always been republicans.....when you get what you vote for but still have to sell the family farm over billions of tons of rotting soybeans you would get a clue.....never mind the red states needing the most food stamps just to feed themselves.....

republicans are nothing without gerrymandering....this is why you always be weak......


one last thing.....

In their 25 yrs in office Democrats had a total of three executive branch officials indicted with one conviction and one prison sentence.

That's one whole executive branch official convicted of a crime in two and a half decades of Democrat leadership.

In the 28 yrs that Republicans have held office over the last 53 yrs they have had a total of 120 criminal indictments of executive branch officials,

with 89 criminal convictions and 34 prison sentences handed down.

As someone living outside of america, can someone explain to me how this founding father thing works? How many generations did pass between the founding fathers and the Europeans who went to america to butcher the native population?

The natives were butchering each other long before the Europeans got there.
