I don't think there's any talented screen writers anymore or Hollywood out of ideals or there's no more originality for story telling anymore, all films seem to be derived from comic books or video games and the odd Stephen King, J. R. R. Tolkien, Anne Rice, J. K. Rowling authors

I don't think that's the case. It's just that you're more likely to pay attention to the highly hyped, big-budget blockbusters that dominate the headlines than to the independent, mid-budget films. Those often offer more original stories but cater to a niche audience.

james actor looks too young in the new silent hill film. james is technically 29 officially, but he LOOKS much older and this intentional in a similar way to angela and eddie, who are both 19 and 23 respectively.

their traumas have aged them considerably, physically and mentally. they look disheveled, tired, weary. they are all young but look like someone perhaps twice their age.

oddly enough the actor who is playing james is actually OLDER! hes 35! but man, hes pretty. has a very "baby face" and could easily pass for 10 years younger.
