There was a lack of mosh pit activity at the Joe Satriani concert I went to. Seems safer than a mosh pit when people aren't moshing.

I completely skipped that one.

The closest experiences to it were when I was on stage in the bands.

No one is mean-spirited in a mosh. Not anyone I've ever met, anyway. Evey one is there for a good time. If you fall down, they WILL pick you up. I've never NOT been picked up.

And you're not fighting, you're slamming. Chest, shoulders, no elbows, no hands, no kicking or kneeing. And you're not being mean. It's more like a chain-reaction bro chest thump than a fight.

Usually everyone ends up just going in a circle headbanging, anyway.

Nah, everyone just bumps into one another. In reality it's an excuse for people to grind against strangers. Not my cup of tea.

The truth is that there may be no places with moshes anywhere around here.

Heck, live music has mostly been replaced by the robots everywhere.

If such a thing is out there, I very much would like to know where it still exists.
