They took away the customisation from the start menu so you can't have your icons how you want them and you can't have the side menu, that costs an extra click now for no reason. You can't access your downloads folder from windows explorer for some stupid reason. They got rid of words for things like copy and paste and replaced them with pictures that look like nothing.
as for win 11, its tolerable, with everything you want removed and hardware requirements bypassed, excluding its development bugs...
i will likely still try steamOS 3 though.

I tried 11 after a huge update claimed to fix a lot of stuff, it still sucked
I tried 11 with the same debloat tool I use for 10, it still sucked
Depending on whether W12 sucks or not it's either stay on 10 forever or go linux
But for gaming, Linux just doesn't support some of my evergreen games. For others, it's hoops to jump through and I'd rather not.
