Which generation came up with the best or worst slang?
It's arguable which generation started some of the slang or just used it a lot more.

Here's some:

Greatest Generation with "OK"
Baby Boomers with "Cat's meow", "jive turkey!", "cool", "ya dig?", "you guys"
Generation X with "peace, out", "a Narc", "Cool beans", "like, totally", "whatever"
Millennium with "receipts", "sus", "bruh", "bye Felicia"
Gen Z with "ghosting", "G.O.A.T.",
Gen Alpha with "67", "rizz", "slaps", "POV"

People don't even know where their words came from but they act like they own it.

Can't wait to see what level of retardness Gen beta will bring. As it seem to be higher and higher as time pass.

Cooked.
"Cool beans" is one that's so rare now I might actually chuckle if I heard someone say it in earnest.

idk the best gen slang, maybe whatev gen is in the 70's 80's 90's range... ?? even 2000's

but it seems as time goes on the new slang gets worse and worse lmao. Am I getting too old now? Isn't that what every generation says?...

Sort of. I don't think you'd say, "That shirt is cool beans." But in agreement with something, you might say, "Cool beans."

Maybe was a version of saying "deal" as in "good/cool deal"? I don't know if "beans" has any specific association.

I think it is cyclical.

Take for example:
23 Skidoo vs 67 Skibidi

The internet AI asserts that "cool beans" is associated with DJ Tanner from 'Full House'. I haven't been able to independently verify this.
