Was the second airstrike on the stranded drug boat murder?
https://www.cnn.com/2025/12/05/politics/suriname-boat-strike-bradley

The US military ultimately struck the boat four times—the first time splitting the boat in half and leaving two survivors clinging to a capsized portion, CNN reported on Thursday. The second, third and fourth strikes killed them and sunk the vessel.

The survivors were also waving at something in the air, the sources said Bradley told them, although it’s unclear whether they might have been surrendering or asking the US aircraft they had spotted for help.

Basically, after the first strike, two people survived and were floating on the capsized wreckage. They were waving something (that could have been a white flag). They were deliberately struck again and killed.

Is this murder or appropriate use of force to stop cartel-related smuggling?

There's been no proof provided that they were 'drug boats'

Yes, it was murder. They are trying to start a war with Venezuela as that is what most fascists do to consolidate power.

If they survived they would just have been smuggling more within a handful of days. If your aim is to intimidate people enough that they stop smuggling then you have to do terrible things to those you catch smuggling.

That's for the courts to decide. But transport of drugs over water is a vector for drug kingpins.
nah, it's fine

you sunk my battle ship!
what could intentionally massacring random people on boats be other than murder?

randomly accusing people of being cartel members with 0 proof and massacring them is completely unjust

This is true. As someone who has lived on the coast their entire life, I have seen many a civilian fishing submarine. :)

Agreed. It was absolutely murder. They were most likely fishermen, but even if they were cartel members, this does not give America the right to slaughter them. Imagine if they just started shooting at American boats.

"Criminals might reoffend so it's best to assume someone in a foreign region is a criminal and then murder them just to be sure!"
~ Your logic.

imagine not having a fishing submarine in 2025

The MAGAs are saying it was a submarine now? Even though there is video proof that it was a boat?

These people truly do live in their own fabricated reality.

It's not an assumption, and not technically murder, but otherwise yes I agree.
