You have a strange imagination. These are the kinds of games played by Saw movie style serial killers, not the CIA. If the CIA want you dead, then you're dead - no "chance of recovery".

(Ignore characters like John Reese and Kara Stanton - those are believable mistakes that the CIA would make if it was targeting its own operatives. You're not a CIA operative, you're not going to be dodging any bullets.)
