Kinda miss those days, everyone hated steam. None of us wanted to use it.
Took forever to patch games, or do anything. Alot of the times it would just freeze and there was nothing to be done but to terminate the process. Oh man, it may have way more features, but its still a buggy piece of crap, especially these last few years.
Id like to know what the hell steamwebhelper is doing half the time..... connected to a amazon server sending data when the client is minimized and not even being used. Already set to low bandwith mode so community content doesnt autoload.
Im not convinced steam isnt some fancy game store with a trojan built into it.

It was $5 at a local harvest market basically the entire town has lawn sales, the roads are closed off and everyone in town walks from house to house looking at stuff people are selling off. The local church opens up their field where people also have tents set up and are selling stuff. The disc for this game was at a tent dedicated to games. Although I have this game... I've never played it.
But my first purchased game was Left 4 Dead.
But the first game I brought was the "Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay".
good game
But i remember i bought a physical box in a store, and it just had a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ steam code inside lol
I was pissed
