Team Ninja seems quite good, after all they're responsible for DOA, Ninja Gaiden and most importantly, Stranger Of Paradise.

I'm also getting into Gust games a bit, Atelier series is so fun.

I don't know what to think about Tango Gameworks at the moment, they made Hi-Fi Rush which I adore but I haven't played their other titles.

Larian Studios, Kaizen Game Works, Hello Games, Ninja Theory, Remedy Entertainment, FromSoftware, Capcom, Gust, Koei Tecmo, Marvelous, Inc.
FromSoftware never misses. I also have a soft spot for Zeboyd Games.
Frictional Games. Some tropes and story structure is overplayed, but I like the engine they use and the design of some of the environments is next level. Amnesia: Rebirth is one of the few instances where a game created something that felt realer than reality, and also completely alien. ie many of the elements are geometrically, functionally, or even visually familiar. I can think of how I can make it up. Like the spaced flat metal rails of the slope / chute thing it dumps you into near the inspection chamber thing. This one hyperspecific asset is a key element of the scene and I recognize it from compactors and some other industrial machinery, but the lighting and the way it's all combined feels like you're not really where you think you are, nor are you seeing what you think you're seeing. It's a projection of a higher dimensional space or some sort of byproduct you're interacting with an trying to see "through".

I dislike forcing the player to participate in rituals however. I think placing your awareness and intent into an act within a virtual space is adequate to get a sort of consent. Using celestial alphabets and other things enhances this.

Makes me sad to say

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arkane_Studios

But Dishonored will forever be one of my most favorite games. I think if they didn't have Bethesda breathing down their necks, Dishonored 3 wouldn't have been the wet garbage it was

I don't know why more games haven't implemented a lethality/morality system. I feel like Baldur's Gate 3 specifically missed the mark on this. They have nearly meaningless non-lethal mechanics
Sucker Punch.
Because 2 ghost games are great.

CD Projekt red.
Supermassive. Like Cage, but also not like Cage, because they don't *always* ruin their story in the last couple hours. Until Dawn was peak, HoA was peak. Even their bad games, I enjoy watching others play.
