Governments banning or limiting the use of VPNs
In Europe, some countries are considering banning the use of VPNs.

In the US, several states are considering or have already passed laws that will ban them, once they go into effect.

So much for university students, businesses and their remote workers, nerds, and whoever else wants to keep some level of privacy.

The last 10 years have been horrible when it comes to electronic privacy and internet laws. So much attention that would have been focused on keeping these sorts of laws from being passed has been diverted to other things.
The government may as well blatantly state that they don't care about our privacy anymore.
Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide.

They did that 24 years ago. It was called The Patriot Act. :x
I lost a major source of income when my state passed nexus taxes affecting Amazon affiliates.

Now my only source of income is in jeopardy as my job depends on me using a VPN.

Governments banning or limiting the use of VPNs

I'm glad to hear it. Too many people in this world are using them for nefarious purposes. Maybe it'll put an end to the multiple Steam accounts being created by banned individuals for the sole purpose of spamming and harassing the forums.

Privacy is a human right.
Why are we going in the direction of china

"American exceptionalism" is long gone. Trying to claim to be a shining city on a hill only makes more of a laughing stock, if that's possible.

Is it? Where is that documented?
It doesn't shock me. All of this NWO agenda has done been prophesied long ago.
As a Chad I set my VPN to the UK before I post any spicy meme's online.
how exactly do they enforce it though? i mean VPNs are illegal in many places but many peoples still use them, china being a huge example.

and if china and the CCP with all of their strict control and censoring cannot fully stop people from using them, i am much less worried about other places.

its still not good it would be made illegal anywhere though
