Why some series is allowed to continue with other writers handle it?
I found it is weird that at some certain point of series when author finished his core plot, they always allow other writers to take over their series and make tons of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ spin offs. Why is that? wanting to get more money to the end of their life without working for more? or something like they sold the ip to someone and lose controls or some kinds of pressure to get people have jobs?

Unless you ask the person that writes the checks, you most likely will never know the answer.


Anything else is mostly conjecture.
