Scrolling through old threads
You ever scroll through an old thread and see next to all the names "banned, banned, banned, banned"? This isn't normal. Such a state is a mark of shame upon a forum.

I guess it would depend on the thread topic(Only the OP banned) or if there were troublemakers yet the admins didn't see fit to remove the bad posts(or everything).
At least the banned accounts can't hurt you.

I mean like you're going down the line and posters from 2017, it's all just banned. Just seems deranged and totally absurd.
When 1000 people are banned for every person on the forum, does that say something bad about the people or the company?
If a country had 1000 people in jail for every one free, would they be a good country?
Also on current threads, notice you dont usually see any of these banned names saying anything wrong before they are banned. Meanwhile others are saying the worst things you ever heard and wonder why they are not.

Well maybe the forum should stop banning people for little or no reason.
Do some people deserve it? Sure, but I know for a fact that sometimes people are unfairly banned.

Community volunteer mods handed out permabans like candy. There's a reason things were changed and the rules on thread topics were relaxed.

I disagree with your crude drawing as evidence of anything.

the volunteer mods were far left liberal mods and would perma ban people at the drop of a hat and just pretended the steam forums were their personal subreddit.
So even though they were all fired, their mark of perma bans is still seen

And the new bot-admins(who are paid?) seem to smack down the nonsense from both sides.
Which do you all prefer? Your vote won't matter, just curious.

well the V mods were actually involved with the community, but were obviously actively antagonistic towards. The new AI mods dont understand context and can be ban happy at times. I guess ill stay with the ai mods, they are less annoying
