Gaming and toys will die out with Millennials
Most Gen Z and Gen Alpha watch short form videos instead of playing with toys or video games. Heck, I think that streaming services will die out with Millennials too since the younger generations don't have the attention span to watch an entire full episode of a series or an entire movie

I don't think that the US culture wars has anything to do with it either since it only affects the sale of movie tickets and video games to Millennials, it doesn't really affect the purchasing pattern of Gen Z

I hope that subscription services will die out. I do not think that toys will ever disappear completely but probably they could become much less profitable.
Also I don't think that gaming will ever completely disappear expecially if you take into account retrogaming too. Contemporary gaming? i hope so. I can't wait to see this rotten industry finally die they are only scammers at this point.
Toys will be mostly for kids under 6 and old lonely folk who want toys to either cuddle with or as a collectable. I doubt toys will die out entirely however.

There's already a brilliant solution for that: 10 minute movies and series with episodes that last an entire minute!
And then what will you guys do?
The other day I saw a Stone Cold Steve Austin action figure in the supermarket. Brand new edition. Who tf is going to buy that?
they will shift the profit meta to short films and Ads where you are forced to watch 5 minute documentaries, educational information, inbetween your 30 second video feeds and garbage. currently we get zero educational information forced on us by media, and it should really change.

media and ad's should be driving advanced thought to the viewers, and providing fundamental information to children so they can succeed in both life and for the world.

You think that's the worst?

Imagine your child asking you for an action figure of an overweight and crusty looking Jack Black as Steve.

It doesn't go unnoticed by corporate and government. Many of those shorts are infused with some form of mind control up to and including propaganda. The vast majority are fake and we see how younger generations struggle to separate reality from fiction. It's not their fault. They lack any reference point so why would they believe otherwise?

All the kids under 10 years old I know in real life post 2020 grew up on Ipads, I don't know a single one that played with a traditional toy when they were toddlers all the way up till the start of middle school

Most people buying toys, trading cards, board games, and video games are men aged 35 - 50

That's not a new idea at all, China invented it back in the late 2010s and exported it to European countries and America, a lot of Chinese companies make low budget American and European vertical short form video drama series for TikTok and Youtube shorts

I don't know why you want forced educational information coz I sure as hell don't want to be informed or educated on anything by social media or video streaming platforms. I hate the ADs so much that once they force it on paid streaming services in my country like they do in US and Australia, I'm just gonna exclusively read physical books for entertainment, mostly Japanese ones

Back when they had originality, with Space Police and Spyrius and Ice Planet and Aquanauts and Rock Raiders, maybe.

It's nothing but licensed IP junk now. And too expensive.
Yeah, just like how board games are not popular in this age.
Each gen have their own way of having fun.
