they also push ads on their "premium" service.
yet they want to force us to watch these ads and will even directly "slow down buffering" of videos, for those using ad blockers.
they also place ads in places, where you can accidently click on them and be redirected to a site, its worse on phone, than on pc with accidental clicking.
the google overlords, would love nothing better, to walk all over their "consumers".
even the fbi has said to use ad blockers, to block all the malicious scams, or malware ridden ads.
have a nice day peeps
That's pretty accurate. Especially if video games is Japanese/Korean games.
I'm an old white dude from a rural red state and for some reason I will get commercials about black lady hair care products, or spanish language videos despite not speaking a lick of spanish.
youtube is just broke and the people in change don't know how, or care to fix it.
odd, i didnt see any ads when using adblocker+, though i switch to ublock origin maybe a year ago, which allows me to see zero ads just the same, so im not sure on how well ad blocker+ works anymore (i also use sponsor block).
with that said, i see significant video buffering, due to using said blockers, because youtube directly slows down ad block users.
if i turn off the ad blockers... 90% of the pages on sites are littered to the brim with malicious ads, scams, adult content and other bs, along with ad placement to allow for accidental clicking (mostly on phones).
*shrugs*
have a nice day
Like what does it have to do with an ad that wants me to take a photo of someone else and make them make out with me?
Time to uninstall the adblocker!
alright I switched to ublock origin lite
