Now that I have opportunity and things I can go do, gaming is something I just do when I relax instead of watching TV.
Life is the real game with the deepest mechanics and most play through hours.
Ha. I was thinking the same. Watching Let's Plays, watching gaming reviews. Streamers. Also, gaming on the phone. etc. Which I don't do anymore.
Yes! The game of life is so much better.
As for quitting gaming, it depends on the person. Can you put it down and come back a week later? Or are you drawn to gaming. And you can't leave the chair. One more hour. I am not an alcoholic. I can have beer in the my fridge and I won't touch it for weeks. Another person who drinks a lot would probably have that beer drunk in a day easy.
Or maybe I've burned myself out of it. Who knows.

It's an okay game, certainly a fun time with pals.
Bro I will never quit gaming. My life is centered around gaming. But too much gaming can get boring and stress us out. You dont have to quit. Life is about balance. Plus any girlfriend would just get mad and leave if all I did was game, I want other things in life too.
I just do something, I work, finish a large errand, or clean the whole house until I am out of energy. Then I sit down and game a long time while I build up that energy back and get bored again. Or if I am cleaning or something, I can play for 20 minutes and get something done in the game, then clean for 20 minutes and get something done in the house while leaving the game running.
Another thing I learned with my age, I been wasting all my years on a large list of games that I rotated through. I feel like because of that, I didnt get far in any of the games, it took up all my time, and when I took a step back alot of the games I played kinda sucked. Our time in life is short and precious. I learned that I dont want to waste it playing any game that didnt spend as much time developing it or just that isnt worthy. I try to keep my list down to one main game, and a few other smaller games just for fun. Its nice to build up that huge empire over years. And its a better balance then just getting bored of a game, and switching to the next cheap game to temporarily occupy my attention.
Gaming makes me happy. Dating and volunteering at charities does not.
Yea but no guy on earth that doesnt have it would be turning it down to play a game unless they are over 60 or already married. Lets be honest. Plus you cant play poker without money.
18,286 hours in Civ 5.

No I do not, for example, look around me he says and what do you see? Empty energy drink cans and delivery boxes not thrown away, impossible, I never eat or drink at my PC, I always step away from it to take a break. Why would I leave delivery boxes piled up around me? I'm not a hoarder!
He also says when referring to World of Warcraft that 'each day the real world felt less important and gaming became my everything', that's how he views gaming, I don't.
I didn't watch all the video OP, my apologies, I enjoy gaming, but obviously not the extent of some people where it controls every second of their life.
BTW: My laundry is cleaned and dried every time I have a full machine load and never piled up on the floor, that video gives a completely wrong impression of a person that might enjoy gaming, but isn't controlled by it.
