In my country, I'm sure I can teach a kid way better than any public school

I am the product of the public school system, but I would never send my kid to a public school these days. Too many innocent naive young kids are coming indocrinated with a radical left ideology.

Get rid of the Dept of Education and send the power back to the states. What we're doing is not working. Costs are skyrocketing and scores are through the floor.

Good job, government. Way to screw up everything you touch.

it depends on your end goals, if you want to create a good right wing voter out of your child you should strive to raise them as uneducated and unsocialised as possible

me personally, I'll go with good idea to send your kids to school, but purblind minds may disagree

Sending a child into today's public school system is child abuse.

I do see public schools as indoctrination stations, and they push the hokey pokey, so no, I wouldn't feel comfortable sending kids there. I am pro-homeschool.

same. my sister belongs to a group of parents that do group home schooling and why that is good, it can socially mess up the kids because they can become tribal and unable to socialize with other kids. Again i don't know much about that but she did share that concern with me.

No absolutely not, avoid French schools if you have the money for it unless your kid really want to stick with their friends because at least they'd be more socially invested.

Depends on the public school system. Most of the big urban school systems are terrible.
Some of the smaller school systems are good, or at least mediocre.
