I'm thinking about buying a robot kit that allows me to program basic automatic functions in a popular programming language like C, I guess as a hobby and to learn. Maybe the experience will serve me well in the future.

I don't have any autonomous robots currently.

yeah i have some cat toys that are self controlled. they were a bit of a waste because the loud noises just scared my cats, they prefer toys that do not make noises

I can give advice. Learn every single thing along the way. Becoming a technical engineer is the coolest thing I ever did. Even at Thanksgiving the other day, my family sat around baffled by my James Bond toys that I made.

One of those things I didnt have time to do when I was working, and now that I dont have a job, cant afford even a 40$ piboard.

It always looked hella fun to me though.
