Few years later and some "expansions" on discounts...

The franchise/game is not looking so great again due to we're back at Vanilla OG Destiny territory again in terms of story cause they REALLY want a fresh start and I haven't finished the current expansion due to other games coming out that I wanted to play and life getting more being busy.

And getting a random ad for it when watching on Youtube.
I know for a fact that it's going to be more disappointing as ever due to if you played Destiny and hoped it get better you'd be the equivalent of an AI Bro thinking they're an artist because they prompted an AI to generate an AI and then try to get copyright protection for the art that they didn't made themselves.

Cause the track record of being a Destiny player is disappointment upon disappointment until third times the charm hits and makes something good... and then repeat the vicious cycle all over again.

Cause when you go mid, bad, bad, good, forgettable, mid, bad, bad, somewhat good, forgettable, mid or bad, good, extremely bad, good but not good enough, and then come to bad again...

That chaos tends to leave a lot of cynicism to those that been around for a long time.
And since they're doing a Star Wars crossover which another failing and possibly dying franchise ruined by the corporate higher ups...

It doesn't leave me much hope due to the multiple **** ups their respective companies have done over the years.
Believe me I would be hyped for a Star Wars crossover... if I liked Star Wars rather than Halo and the original makers of Halo either left, got fired, or still working in the company despite all the sh*t that has happened.

Why don't I post this on the Destiny 2 discussions?
It's because Destiny 2 is basically starting to wither away due to the burn out from over a decade and most long time players just left due to being disappointed a lot over the years despite the efforts were made... they weren't substantial enough to leave a good impression due to the resources were badly managed cause they want profit over gameplay... and it still shows.

Cause I'ma tell you now and Star Wars fans that never played Destiny 2 before is going to be in for a vicious cycle of disappointment and a lot of microtransactions that keeps telling them to buy in order to get more.

...And last time I checked the fans are basically having similar issues due to the track record of Disney being complete dumb f*cks trying to propagandize the sh*t out of a series meant for males... and when they struck gold they only sunk lower to the point where it takes an entire mass of people to find something below the line of the bare minimum... when the line is on the ground.

Cause you can be both a Star Wars Fan and a Destiny 2 Fan... but we all know only crazy people would bare disappointment and think that's it's fine not the criticize.
But we criticize not because we hate it... it's because we can see it do better.

You can criticize anything you want but nowadays everyone can be a critic without even have the bare essentials on what they're trying to criticize.
The difference is intention and whether or not they have knowledge or experience with something the subject in question.

Cause I can tell you right now that expansion does not give me any hope as having any hope left as a Destiny fan is like believing that Nintendo would never patent something cause they can't sue something that is making a better product than them and all they can do is stifle creativity cause they don't want to get up off their chairs they got comfortable in which lead them to becoming lazy.

Thankfully indie devs are the ones trying to light the way again by having the passion for gaming like they have... and are getting ridiculed for being fun and better than the guys who are in charge of the old titans that gave them that spark in the first place.

It all depends on what company is doing it... but Bungie is still one of those companies of the major gaming industry that has a game genre that cannot be killed... not because they're isn't any major competitors... it's because the only game that can kill Destiny... is Destiny itself.

And it shows given how the player numbers are starting to drop massively due to the decade long mass of disappointment.

And I'm not a Star Wars fan maniac myself but I and many others know that if you put two dying franchises together for a crossover... it's only gonna make things worse for the long run.
Cause sure you did spark interest in both franchises... but only for a brief moment as again.

The track record I mentioned before is comically absurd you think I was being biased... normally I would agree on that but if you played the game for at least half that decade you know where that spark breaks and how it happened.

All I can do and many others is just wait and see how things play out... but when you been on the vicious cycle for a long time... that kind chaos tends to follow you home no matter what form it takes.

All I know is seeing my Titan holding a lightsaber... is going to be goofy as hell due to the fact that media takes inspiration from other media.
...And this era of media from the companies that own them... barely have any left to go by due to laziness for profit.

It's just that when you're passionate about something... it leaves you great concern when it's not doing well... and you find out the truth on the why which is usually a bitter pill to swallow.
