The second one gets a little boring with some longer areas that doesn't have much to it, but it's, overall, a really good game, in my opinion! :D
Play? Definitely
i will play i guess
Anyway, I don't know why they made a kickstarter short film instead of a new game. :/
Yeah, EA went the cheap AF route there-all new physical copies of Alice: Madness Returns contained DLC for both extra cosmetics for Alice in that game AND the remastered version of the first game. I think there’s a guide somewhere on the A:MR subforum for how to get both the cosmetics & the remastered first game into your Steam copy of A:MR.
I also backed that kickstarter and got a signed Blu-ray copy of the short films. You didn’t miss that much, tbh.
I believe there was also a kickstarter for what was supposed to be the third game later on-Alice: Asylum. American McGee wanted to buy the rights back from EA and make the game with his own company (EA had no interest in making another Alice game via partnership IIRC). It didn’t work out (EA refused to sell the IP despite having no interest in producing another game) and AFAIK AM has left the gaming industry entirely.
