Curious. I think the system that is to come, if we assume that this 4th Industrial Revolution will go about smoothly (which it will, as the industrial system always expands either way), I think we will be somewhere near a synthesis of capitalism, feudalism, and higher stage communism where the dissolution of scarcity through the advancement of productive forces outpace the need for exchange systems. There will likely be no point to exchange in the modern sense in these 4th-revolution instruments if it goes as correctly and truly surpasses scarcity even in the abstract sense (there is a difference between surpassing scarcity - where we are currently at - and surpassing scarcity in the abstract sense - the on-demand form that transhumanists fawn over): it will be more similar to either UBI or feudalism with bourgeois characteristics (how ironic!)
It will be an utopia in the abstract sense but a dystopia in the concrete sense: similar to Brave New World. The devolution into the primitive yet domesticated mindset will be common to this society, as children and adults alike indulge in the whimsy of communistic technology that infiltrates their senses: the taste, the smell, the hearing, the feeling, it will come to reproduce and salvate all of those senses continuously as man is domesticated firmly in the name of overcoming civilization altogether; as we can see, this will be a world of oxymorons, a world of the impossible, precisely since technique is, as ♥♥♥♥ faber predicts, a tool for the impossible, the active and radical inversion of what is always timeless and true, the consumption of the sacred by what is Unique, but in service of its own being, which is only a condition of bourgeois wandering.
