Games where difficulty level affects loot quality/quantity
The most recent example i can think of is "Crime Simulator" where difficulty affects the loot rarity and their numbers.
A more indirect example is Lethal Company in which choosing a certain location is more risky than others and thus loot is more rare there.

Don't include games where the difficulty only increases the final value or multiples its value of loot(like Deep rock Galatic, Payday and so on).

EDIT: it isn't about i want to play easy or hard, i just want to know what games have that mechanic where difficulty changes loot rarity. It was never about difficulty concepts in games

So what are you saying here, games are pay to win now,? I don't think that is true. You said not to mention Payday 2 but its one of the best games out there still. And it is not pay to win.

Huh? I didn't say that.
I know payday difficulty doesn't change the loot, it only increases the value. Please look again
A lot of the Tales of games provide more/better drops when you play on higher difficulties.

Slay the Spire, great game, random drops not pay to win at all.

It's not about pay to win, just look at the games I listed as an example to understand the concept. Look up " X difficulty" where X is for any game

Not a PC game but in Kid Icarus Uprising you chose the difficulty for each level with a cauldron. You can get better weapons that way
Not sure why anyone is saying pay2win. They literally did not say that.
TLDR you should pick a difficulty that allows you to have fun and be challenged and that should be the "reward".
Here are the arguments I think of.
On one hand, you chose the higher difficulty, so should the reward not be a more difficult game?
On the other hand, I chose a harder difficulty. If I put more work should I not be "paid" more?
But at the end I think lean more towards not improving rewards. Here's why. I do not think difficulty should be used a reward/challenge anymore. Games have become more accessible, more accepted by the normie population, and online co-op games are still the most popular.
Beating a game on the hardest difficulty no longer gives you clout. Choosing difficulty should be about where you skill level is at.

PS: I am okay with an item reward if you beat a game. those feel more like trophies

Hades (hardcore challenges for better rewards)

Darkest Dungeon (сhampion-level dungeons are the only source of the best loot).

Cuphead (getting an A- or higher rank on bosses is required to fully complete the game and unlock all content)

Pretty much every MMORPG, RPG, survival, and action-adventure game has loot that gets better as the difficulty increases

Why are you playing Cuphead?
