I mean just imagine, the government are going to build huge AI data centres where an LLM will know your name, address, car registration, it will be able to recognise your face on on CCTV. It will go through all your social media and connect as many dots as possible of your online history and habits. It can use all this information to provide the authorities with a neat little summarised analysis. It can be further tweaked to provide malicious analysis too, such as character assassination and destroying someone's life, for the purpose of threats and intimidation.

I don't know what they're really building, but I doubt it's for LLMs. Maybe hubs for remote sensing and digital twins. ChatGPT's backend is clearly hooked into something which knows more than it should, and which persists across instances and cookie cleared / IP changes. It seems to know not only what you've been thinking about recently, but how you think of it. Meaning it draws from some sort of database which is aware of those associative networks. I think ultimately, if it isn't the case already, the processing load for AI will be distributed across the biosphere. It'll use our bodies and brains to make decisions. This won't come in the form of the red herring Jose Delgado-esque neuralink implant, nor will it be opt in.
