Mate, it's optional to participate in sales. You don't need it? Don't buy it. Want it? Buy it, if you can afford it. That's all there is to it.
however it was a practice in retail for Stores to get as much in positive revenue as possible or "Going into the Black" in the business as apposed to becoming deficit aka: "Going into the Red"
the day they picked for it, being the day after thanksgiving, was intended for trying to grab the attention of as many traveling families as possible to increase the likelihood of making a sale.
And with this knowledge by using an app that measures that sort of things throught the month, I'll simply leave this friendly advice here as an evnetual "food for thought" to whomever reads this thread a tad more carefully.
But i do acknowledge some customers can't control themselves just because there is a -% in the pricing tag even if the store is selling at the exact same price. From my perspective i would bet majority of people are impulse buyers so they are susceptible to these things.
Previous price: 495$
evil? hmm. definitely delicious.
So it would be
$499.99 (regular price)
$799.99
$559.99 30% OFF BLACK FRIDAY SALE! (sales price lmao)
