Why do some posts have that message forever, or is it just me? :hacchi_sus:

Maybe a new model of the AI, that is constantly confusing itself.

As I understand it this being permanent is what happens when the content checking system finds something it objects to, it can't delete the post so it just keeps that warning message up.

I usually press “quote” to see why it’s taking so long for it to go through and then I realize why it takes so long. Apparently AI is familiar with people trying to advertise or scam.

Hey Stakanov! Sorry about the... thing yesterday. I really am. Would a award be enough to make it to you? I even added your thread so that people could visit it.

Wait, you can see what the post says if you quote it? I never tried that.
fluxtorrent 28. nov. kl. 6:19
simple answer is that the autocontent checker gets stuck sometimes and only steam support can push it through or delete the post, so you have to make a support ticket to get it resolved.

The checker CAN delete posts and does when it works properly, but its still bugged after all these years. Problem has existed before the volunteer mods got retired and even THEY had to poke someone at Valve or in submit a ticket to get resolved. Even the paid moderators can't do anything about it.

Yes. It usually takes a few minutes for a normal post to go through but if you don’t wanna wait you can just press quote and read what it says before it goes through.

I don't know about posts but I know the auto-checker CAN'T delete screenshots and artwork. Worse is that you also can't delete those screenshots or artwork because they have been flagged, so you have to get a support staff member to do it for you.

The auto checker is able to read any text you put on your screenshots or artwork as an aside, which surprised me.

Of course. Fun fact but I figured it out myself and some other people figured it out too.

It absolutely can delete those too but gets stuck even more frequently there. It would be great if they finally fixed it but I won't hold my breath. The one thing it can't delete is reviews, but it flags those for support to look at

No, it can't delete them. After it is done checking them, if it decides they're not allowed, it gives them a red highlight in your artwork/screenshots section, tells you they're only visible to you because they violate steam TOS and tells you to contact steam support.

Thats a different pipeline. Thats the adult content checker that does that. The one that leaves the message in the forums is specifically looking for scam content and it DOES delete any UGC that it detects as malicious. They are two different systems

You think you’re clever or funny?
Don’t. I’m THPI, 186 IQ, and I see through that game instantly...

What? It's an actual apology. It's not a game. Please for the love of God accept the apology. Just take a look at my thread, the link is there. There you can see I actually meant it. And the award is just an offer you may accept!
