sometimes a family is just a bunch of peoples who were thrown together by circumstances and blood. i think making your own family and choosing your loved ones is always the superior choice. if that happens to be the family you are born with, great. but sometimes it is not
in your example i would probably let them initiate first, that often shows whether or not someone is interested in speaking to you or not. if you continuously reach out but its full radio silence from their end, then just stop reaching out.
no, i would not forgive them no matter what. actions have consequences, sometimes those consequences result in the breaking of the relationship. sometimes thats forever and it cannot be fixed.
Well said.
I feel like I should do that.
do what you need to do to ensure your mental and emotional wellbeing is cared for. sometimes this means cutting out someone from our lives, even if we love them.
Good thing about being half an orphan, I don't have to tolerate idiots just because of DNA.
I am glad to hear that you have found a sense of freedom.
Yeah, that.
And when I'm dead I'll just come back again, like always.
edit: Nvm, I'd became a morally ambiguous vagrant who lost their business from a space pirate assault then I would go a grand and goofy adventure to find the galactic leyline with a band of misfit friends.
