i wonder how the valve leadership thinks about steam forums
there are no ads here, so they must be thinking keeping people in the steam apps talking about games will lead to more game sales. i wonder if they have models/metrics that try to quantify that.

I’ve bought things out of spite because people hate on weird stuff in the game forums so it does give them a slight boost.

OT is just a sort of containment board of insanity.

I still find it goofy they allowed politics and religion here. And I find it goofy still that vac discussion is a thing because it’s mostly people complaining.

I have an idea. People who are vac banned should also be community banned. We should still keep vac discussion open though.
