im not sure we will gaze upon it as a Citizen Kane classic, but it does show how the industry as a whole is turning against the old, outdated norms.

they should try and make another oz film like "return to oz", full dark fantasy
i know and i love american mcgees alice and madness returns. i even sort of like the johnny depp films because they felt oddly dark in a similar, but less violent way. i have read some of the oz books, but most aspects of them are not especially dark.
i agree that not everything needs to be dark, but thats just what i like. horror and dark fantasy medias, this is what i consume and enjoy.
