Malwarebytes flagging a file
For the past few days, Malwarebytes has been flagging steam/dav1d.dll as malware and quarantining it. Online, it says that it is a decoder.
I assume that it is a false positive.

Wow! Haven’t heard about Malwarebytes in almost 15 years.
it says ramnit.virus.fileinfector.dds on the quarantine list.

I have installed no new programs, only have auto updates for games and anti malware, and pretty much only use the computer for steam.

I'd sure be scart by something called "ramnit.viris.fileinfector.dds" if file paths had 4 elements like that.

It just seems odd that something would end up being downloaded there. The warnings pop up after playing Payday 2 so it is possible that they broke something when updating.
